Pat has been Chairman of PUNCH Consulting Engineers since 2006 having served as Managing Director from 2000-2006.  He joined the firm as a graduate in 1974, became Partner in 1976 and became a Director in 1987.

Prior to joining PUNCH Consulting Engineers, Pat worked in Paris as a programmer with IBM France.

Pat graduated from University College Cork with a degree in Civil Engineering.  He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of Engineers Ireland and is also a Registered Consulting Engineer with the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland.

Pat’s career with PUNCH Consulting Engineers has encompassed a wide spectrum of projects including residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructural.

With two adult daughters Pat is also a keen supporter of Munster rugby. His extra-curricular activities have included membership of school boards and other voluntary committees.
