Catherine started her career in London before joining PUNCH as a Senior Structural Engineer in 1998. In 2012 she joined Byrne Looby as an Associate, before returning to PUNCH as a Technical Director in 2018.

Catherine is a Chartered Engineer, with significant design and project management experience. She has progressed her career in client and consultancy organisations working on a variety of building, water treatment plants, microtunnelling (pipejacking), maritime structures and rail infrastructure. She has over 25 years of experience latterly specialising in the design and project management of buildings, water treatment plants, maritime facilities and microtunnelling projects. Catherine has worked on projects throughout Ireland, the UK and the Middle East.

Catherine has particular experience in project planning, outline and detailed design, technical, economic, and financial feasibility studies, design and technical reviews and analysis, surveys, inspections and appraisals of existing structures, and leading multi-discipline ensuring that practical and commercially viable developments are completed in Ireland and internationally.

Catherine is married, and her interests include horse riding and running, she regularly participates in local organised runs, and ticked running a marathon off her bucket list in 2014.
