PUNCH is providing Civil and Structural Engineering services for a new major office complex on the Galway Docks, which was featured in the 5th April edition of The Irish Times.
The planned project overlooking Galway Docks will include four top-end office blocks, extending to 26,000m2 (279,850f2), as well as 2,005m2 (21,581f2) of retail space spread over the four buildings. The six and seven storey office blocks will share a single basement level and overlook a landscaped plaza.
Speaking to the Irish Times, our client Gerry Barrett of Edward Capital, commented that the development will "make up for a dearth in the city centre office space".
"It will cement a reimagining of Galway as it moves towards 2020 and takes up the mantle of European Capital of Culture."
PUNCH is very excited to play our part in helping Edward Capital deliver this project.
