The building contains three separate halls, 2 x 325m2 halls dedicated to physical education tuition and 1 x 1000m2 multipurpose hall which accommodates recreational sport, examinations and the conferral ceremony. The total floor area of the development was 3,218m2
The building maximises the use of natural lighting and natural ventilation. The roof design facilitates north-lighting by the use of roof trusses arranged diagonally across the multipurpose hall.
A significant portion of the project was the upgrade of the campus infrastructure which included demolition of existing buildings, a new campus entrance and campus roadway, the provision of bus parking, new car parking, and underground storm water and foul drainage system.
