Surface Water Audits are a mandatory requirement of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council for all development sites where:

  • Site plan area is greater than 0.5ha
  • Number of residential units exceeds 20
  • Commercial areas exceeds 500m2

Independent Chartered Engineer

Surface Water Audits are required to be undertaken by an independent Chartered Engineer who is unconnected with the development design team at 3 stages:

  • Pre Planning Stage
  • Detailed Design Stage
  • Completion Stage
