PUNCH projects dominate the Building Category nominations at Irish Concrete Society Awards 2017

PUNCH is proud to announce that three of our projects have been nominated in the Building Category of the 35th Annual Irish Concrete Society Awards 2017.

Samuel Beckett Civic Campus Dublin, Clive House, Limerick, and Roscommon County Council Offices have taken three of the fourteen slots in the Building Category. The ICS Awards recognise excellence in both design and construction in concrete.

Samuel Beckett Civic Campus, Dublin

This €30m project is a civic campus project, located on an 18 acre parkland site, in South County Dublin. The site is adjacent to the Green Luas track along Ballyogan Road. The project comprises a Community Building, 3 no. natural grass sports pitches, 3 no. synthetic sports pitches, skate-park, children’s playground, surface level car parking and design landscaped areas.

Clive House, Limerick

This €4.5m office project comprises a 4-storey office block within the National Technological Park in Limerick. It was one of the first significant construction projects in the Mid-West since the economic collapse.

Roscommon County Council Offices

The new headquarters for Roscommon County Council is located in Roscommon town, beside the old courthouse and on the site of the old Gaol. The 6,700m2 development consists of new office accommodation, new council chambers and facilities for elected members. This project has won a total of four awards so far since early 2016.

The ceremony takes place on Saturday, 8th April 2017 at Croke Park.
